'textile fusion'

Discarded textiles became building blocks in Tomiwa Balogun’s architectural experiment. Working with offcuts from local fashion manufacturers, he fused fabric waste into colourful, thermally insulative panels—testing their use in community buildings, façades, and flexible interior structures. His studio became a lab of heat-bonding, lamination, and structural stress testing. The result is part product, part prototype for rethinking construction material flows. Tomi’s approach to repair is innovative and tactile: binding softness and strength into a new material language of reuse.
