'loafers' lair'

Nora Seferi’s project treats architecture as an ambient companion. Designed for residents whose work and waking rhythms don’t follow the 9-to-5, the “Loafers’ Lair” is a light therapy centre that balances natural and artificial spectral inputs to support circadian regulation. Her design incorporates translucent materials and layered façades that filter and bounce light depending on the user’s needs. Digital modeling was paired with physical light tests and bio-feedback simulations. More than an object, the building becomes a slow machine for wellbeing. For Nora, repair is physiological and psychological—a recalibration of architecture to the internal rhythms and overlooked sensitivities of urban life.
